Remote Online Notarization is a legally recognized method of notarization conducted via secure video conference. Ohio authorized RON in 2020 under Ohio Revised Code § 147.65, and it is now accepted in 40+ states across the United States.
Instead of meeting in person, you and the notary connect on a secure platform, verify your identity digitally, and sign your documents electronically. The result is fully legally binding — and for many documents, it is faster, safer, and more convenient than traditional in-person notarization. The completed document includes a tamper-evident audit trail and a digital notary seal.

Upload your document in PDF format before the session. If you only have a paper copy, you can scan it using your smartphone camera.

Our platform uses knowledge-based authentication (KBA) and an ID scan to verify your identity. This takes approximately 2 minutes.
Sign on Video
We connect via secure video call. You'll electronically sign your document while we witness and apply the official notary seal in real time.

Is Online Notarization Legal in Ohio?
Yes. Ohio enacted Remote Online Notarization legislation in 2020, making it one of the earlier states to authorize RON. Ohio notaries who are RON-certified — as Noted Notaries is — can legally notarize documents for Ohio residents and for residents of other states that accept RON-notarized documents.
